I don't treat conditions. I treat people. And usually people have more than one thing going on. And often, the "thing" that would benefit from treatment is not localized to a specific diagnosis.
A common scenario is a person who tells me, "I don't feel right, but my primary care doc did my standard check up and said everything is fine."
All that being said, we can't always be stuck in wishy-washy land. So a list of common ailments or conditions I work with are:
Digestion: IBS, food reactions, colitis
Hormones: Thyroid, adrenals, ovaries: puberty, pregnancy, periods, post partum, perimenopause
Skin: Acne, eczema, psoriasis, rashes, sensitive skin
Mood/Nervous System: Anxiety, depression, insomnia, cognitive challenges
Chronic disease: Cardiometabolic disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, osteoporosis
Autoimmune Disease: Hashimotos, celiac, multiple sclerosis
Urogenital Conditions: Infections, pain, overactive bladder, vulvodynia, endometriosis
This list is not exhaustive, but rather common categories and examples. If you have a diagnosis that you don't see on this list, that's ok. Let's talk more to see if we'd be a good fit.

I strive for inclusive care for any person with any connection to the concept of woman-ness. This could include, but is not limited to:
people identifying as female regardless of sex assigned at birth
people with XX chromosomes regardless of gender identity, organ inventory or hormone status
cis-people
trans-people
non-binary people
intersex people
other categories of people that I have not had the insight to name here that claim a connection to woman-ness

eager to co-create a plan of action that works for you.
looking for more attention and support around your health/healing.
We might NOT be a good fit if you’re:
looking for quick fixes.
needing me to manage prescription medication or surgery.
looking for me to just “tell you what to do.”

I strive to provide care that is collaborative and places us on equal footing. I am a person. You are a person. I am an expert in information around health, bodies and natural medicine. You are an expert in YOU. I cannot make sustainable changes in your health or symptoms. Only you can do that. I can guide you with information, ideas, options and advice. Only you can do the work of healing. We are a team.
The idea of one blinding follow the mandate of “doctor’s orders” is an outdated extension of the patriarchal and misogynistic patterns that have long plagued medicine and our culture. I am striving to shift this one person at a time by embodying the a collaborative and connected model of care.
Ultimately, we achieve this primarily through conversation and discussion on what’s going on, what you want and what action you can take to improve your health.

No. Upon request, I can provide a superbill will all the appropriate codes for you to submit a claim to your insurance. Likely the visit will not be reimbursed, however, in some cases visit cost may be counted toward a plan’s deductible. Please discuss with your insurance carrier if that is viable for you.

Please don't ask me this.
Why? Because the question belies a fundamental misunderstanding of the work. But it's ok, it's not your fault. it's my job to explain.
To start with, in short, I don't know what supplements you should take. It all depends on countless factors that we may or may not yet have had a chance to discuss. What are your concerns, what are you goals, what is your budget, what are you sensitive to, etc...
Second, not everyone needs supplements, benefits from supplements, is able to afford supplements or even "should" take supplements. Philosophically, I don't believe supplements are a requirement for health. Don't get me wrong, supplements can be great tools to aid healing. But, you can't supplement your way out of a bad diet or sedentary lifestyle. The supplements are the tip of the iceberg, the icing on the cake, the powdered sugar on the donut. They don't do the heavy lifting.
If you are expecting that you can take a few supplements and feel totally transformed, you are likely in for disappointment. There isn't a magical formula or combination of items that will "fix" you (mostly because you are not broken).
Lastly, I will never tell you that you "should" do something. How arrogant it would be of me to assume I could know well enough about you to know what you "should" do. And how awkward and unpleasant would you feel if you had to come back and tell me you didn't do what I mandated. Yuck. Not a good situation for either of us. Of course, I will happily share ideas and detailed information on what supplements you *could* take or might want to consider including. Even though I'm the doctor, I don't "always know best."
Ultimately, maybe you will take some supplements, but not because I told you to, but because you've learned what they could do for you, how they would support your biochemistry, and you decide that that is a worthwhile investment for yourself. Then you will take the supplements, and you will be happy to take the supplements. There wont be any "should" about it.
